Excellence Through People

Niscayah Ireland has retained its Excellence Through People accreditation to 2012 - the national standard for the development of human resources. This business improvement tool extends across the business' Dublin and Cork offices and to its field engineering workforce.

"Excellence Through People is intended to further the development of our organisaton through the ambitions of our employees," explains Niscayah Managing Director Willie Tighe. "This prestigious award is a great achievement by our HR team, on behalf of our staff. It is an external validation of the commitment and effort of all employees to their own learning and development aspirations, as well as their involvement, as individuals and part of a team, in the continuous improvement of the operation of the organisation."

Niscayah had to demonstrate competency across eight criteria in order to achieve the accreditation: Business Planning & Quality Improvement; Effective Communication & People Involvement; Leadership & People Management; Planning of Learning & Development; Training & Life-Long Learning; Review of Learning; Recruitment & Selection; and Employee Well-Being.

Mr Tighe concludes: "These processes are critical for our company to be able to change and innovate, in response to today's dynamic business environment and, particularly, to the evolving, technology-based nature of the CCTV, access control and alarm systems and services we provide."
